Uyoon Fazeel Mohamed is currently pursuing a Master’s in Child Psychology at UCSI University, Malaysia, building upon a strong academic foundation in psychology and applied sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology from UCSI University and a Diploma in Applied Science from Raffles University, Singapore.

Her academic journey has provided extensive knowledge in child development, psychological assessment, intervention planning, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

In addition to her academic training, Uyoon has developed practical skills in mental health support, emotional well-being promotion, crisis response, and psychological research. She is also a published researcher, with work focusing on moral emotions among juvenile delinquents in the Maldives.

Uyoon’s passion for child psychology is rooted in a deep belief that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and supported. She is continually inspired by the curiosity, and quiet potential that exist within every child, and she trusts that with a nurturing environment and meaningful support, children can thrive and grow into their fullest selves.

To her, childhood is not simply a stage of development, but a sacred and formative space where the presence of care and understanding can shape the course of an entire lifetime. Guided by this belief, she hopes to be a steady and compassionate presence in the lives of children and their families, offering understanding, comfort and hope.

Client Groups & Clinical Experience

As an intern, Uyoon is gaining practical experience working with children and families, applying psychological theories and evidence-based approaches to support developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs. Her training includes child development observation, behavior analysis, intervention planning, emotional regulation strategies, and mental health promotion.

Through her involvement in mental health support services, Uyoon has gained experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate emotional and psychological challenges. She has provided emotional support and active listening services to individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, trauma, loss and emotional challenges.

This experience has strengthened her skills in psychological support, crisis response, resource guidance, and working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
