Ng Xueli

Psychologist (Health)

Qualifications & Professional Registration

Ng Xueli brings an exceptional blend of advanced behavioural science research and international health psychology experience to clinical and corporate wellness spaces.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Psychological Medicine at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), she holds an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Surrey (UK) and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, qualifications that fulfil the requirements for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) and registration with the British Psychological Society (BPS).

Trained thoroughly in standard psychiatric data architectures and medical ethics, her practice is strictly anchored in robust clinical protocols with full certifications in National Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Psychological First Aid (PFA).

About Xueli

Operating under expert clinical supervision, she specialises in designing tailored psychoeducational interventions that bridge the gap between medical intent and real-world compliance. Her core expertise centres on applying the Health Belief Model (HBM) and other frameworks to systematically deconstruct the psychological and structural barriers underlying medical non-adherence.

This empirical framework is actively deployed through her doctoral research, which focuses on implementing targeted preventative health initiatives and community-level screening protocols within communities.

To precisely evaluate the cognitive and behavioural factors driving patient adherence, she utilises specialised quantitative metrics tools. These advanced psychometric tools allow her to track behavioural shifts, audit intervention efficacy, and co-create sustainable lifestyle modifications for clients facing routine disruptions.

Client Groups & Clinical Experience

Offering clinical consultations fluently in English and Mandarin, she seamlessly integrates within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver culturally nuanced strategies that help clients navigate stress, establish adaptive habits, and achieve long-term wellness outcomes.
