Qualifications & Professional Background

Xue Wen is a registered clinical psychologist with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) (MAHPC(CP)000853) and a registered member of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP CP1-0625). She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Taylor’s University. Her clinical experience spans both private practice and government healthcare settings, where she has provided evidence-based psychological care to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, populations, and age groups presenting with a wide range of emotional, personality, neurodevelopmental, and behavioral concerns.

Guided by empathy and authenticity, she is passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves, navigate life’s complex challenges, and move toward sustainable personal growth. She believes that every individual deserves a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space to heal, reflect, and feel genuinely heard and understood.

Her therapeutic work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Through tailored interventions, she supports clients in managing emotional dysregulation, addressing interpersonal difficulties, building distress tolerance, and developing adaptive coping strategies aligned with their personal goals.

Xue Wen has experiences delivering comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions across both public and private clinical settings. She works with individuals across developmental stages presenting with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related difficulties, neurodevelopmental conditions, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), personality disorders, behavioral challenges, and emotional regulation concerns. Where appropriate, she collaborates with clients’ support systems to ensure a holistic, individualized approach to care.
