Catherine is a Registered Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a range of emotional and mental health concerns.
Catherine’s approach to therapy is warm, collaborative and personalised. She draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), tailoring therapy to each client’s individual needs, goals and circumstances.
She has experience working with concerns including neurodevelopmental disorders, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, PTSD, adjustment difficulties and psychological challenges associated with physical health conditions. Her clinical experience includes working in both psychological and medical settings including providing psychological assessment and intervention for oncology and chronic pain patients and working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Catherine is particularly interested in helping clients develop emotional awareness, healthier ways of responding to difficult thoughts and feelings and practical coping strategies.
She aims to provide a non-judgemental and supportive space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves, explore what they are going through and work collaboratively towards the changes that matter to them.
