Dr Alvin Ng Lai Oon is a Professor of Psychology at Sunway University and a highly respected leader in clinical psychology, mental health literacy, and psychological education in Malaysia and the region. With over two decades of academic, leadership, and public engagement experience, he brings deep strategic and clinical insight to MindNexis.

Formerly trained as a clinical psychologist, Dr Ng has played a pivotal role in advancing mental health awareness, professional training, and evidence-based psychological practice. He has delivered over 400 public and professional talks, contributed regularly to national media, and has been instrumental in shaping psychology education and professional standards in Malaysia.
