Dr Hari Sholinghur
Consultant Neuropsychiatrist and General Adult Psychiatrist
Dr Hari Sholinghur is a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist and General Adult Psychiatrist with over 15 years of consultant experience across NHS and independent sector services. He is currently the Medical Director of a specialist neuropsychiatric rehabilitation hospital and the Founder and CEO of Recovery Minds, an independent service focused on the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Dr Sholinghur has extensive clinical experience across acute psychiatry, psychiatric intensive care units (PICU), and specialist neurorehabilitation services, managing complex presentations including acquired brain injury, behavioural disturbance following neurological illness, treatment-resistant psychosis, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, Dr Sholinghur undertakes medico-legal expert witness work, providing independent psychiatric and neuropsychiatric opinions for courts in cases involving brain injury, mental capacity, risk, and complex psychiatric presentations.
He has a strong interest in medical leadership, service innovation, and the future of psychiatry at the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and emerging therapeutic approaches.
